Albert, I know that you are a big Mosley fan, so I ask you if you think that Mosley should fight Margarito next? David, Tempe

David, as much as I admire Mosley, I would strongly not advise him to face the Tijuana Terminater. I just am not saying this because of Mosley’s fight with Mayorga either, as I feel that the long layoff that Mosley had going into this fight never helps any fighter, especialy one that is 37 years old. I would much rather have Mosley face Floyd, I know that Floyd is retired [depending on who you ask] I prefer to use the term on a ‘’temporary leave'’, to me it would be way less of a risk to go after Floyd than to go after Margarito. I don’t feel that Margarito who throws pain in every punch can knock out Mosley, but he can sure cause real damage to a fighter that has nothing else to prove. A fight against the feather fisted  Floyd would be a much safer fight plus it may even pay more. Mayweather/Mosley will also show us a new side to Mayweather, Sure Mayweather can land plenty on Mosley but what will Mayweather do when he discovers that none of his punches will hurt the granite chin of Mosley? In the later rounds, How would Mayweather react when he starts to box Mosley and discovers that unlike Judah, Mosley is not going through a mental breakdown? Sorry for the long answer but there it is.

Albert the more I think about it, the more I think that Pac-Man can beat De La Hoya, I smell an upset. Eljio, Tucson

Eljio, The only way I see Oscar losing this fight is if Oscar was forced to tie both his arms behind his back. A blood hungry Oscar will blast Pac-Man inside 4 rounds, A B- Oscar knocks out Pac-Man in 6 rounds, A C- Oscar knocks out Pac-Man in 8 rounds, and a D- Oscar knocks out Pac-Man in 10 rounds. In any case, make sure to get the fight, it’s sure to be a knockout!!! No pun intended.

What big fights do you see out there once De La Hoya retires? Joe Reyes, Mesa

Joe, great question, I see a few big fights out there. For one a Pac-Man/Hatton fight would be huge! Another big one would be Calzaghe/Pavlik, if they both get past their final exam that is. If David Haye proves to be a real heavyweight and if Arreola keeps knocking heads off of shoulders, a Haye/Arreola fight could be what the heavyweight division desperatly needs. A Margarito/Mayweather fight would be big as well. In a few years if they both stay healthy and golden, a Jorge Linares and a Juan Manuel Lopez clash would be amazing to see.

Albert I just recently started to watch boxing after my brother got the recent Cotto fight, the fight was real good, Antonio and Cotto both came to throw hard punches at each other. If you had to name one fight right now other than that one, where you think both fighters would both come in and throw hard punches like that at each other who would you pick? Nathan, Phoenix

Nathan, since you are putting me on the spot right now, I would say James Kirkland and Alfredo Angulo… WOW… what a blood bath that would be, Since you are just getting your feet wet into the sport, Angulo fights this Saturday night, should be an interesting fight.

Albert it looks like you were right about Zab, looks like he might go to junior welter, who do you think he should go after at junior welter?  Rich, Glendale

Rich, If Judah does go to 140, I would expect him to go after the big money fights. As we all know the big money fights are the title fights, In saying that I would expect Judah to pursue the winner of Malignaggi/Hatton heavy or Timothy Bradley. In my opinion a Bradley/Judah fight would be an entertaining fight to see. Only time will tell to see what the future at 140 holds for lucky lefty.
